Project Progress Update for Period Ending 25 September 2020
Levee work completed except for Catherine St., parking lots, swales, and touch up areas. Several areas of the levee will require reseeding.
48” Storm Line: 100% Complete. Repairs to the 48” storm pipe require verification.
Closure Structure #11 & 12: Dry fit of stop log system needs to be scheduled.
Pump Station #3: Pump test experience problems with operation of storm water pumps under generator power. HRI/Hayden reviewing problems with Xylem and Generac. Issue with sluice gate operation to be investigated. Gate will not fully open.
Pump Station #4: Pump test – experienced problems with water getting into soft start, and pumps not running under generator power. HRI/Hayden reviewing problems with Xylem and Generac.
Pump Station #5: HRI/Hayden coordinating float installation and settings. Testing, Start-up, and training are required.
Paving Work: Paving of 11th St., Mulch Yard access road, Railroad Street, Market St., Rheam Driveway, 9th St., and Catherine St. paving is 99% complete.
Catherine St. / Ninth St: Section of concrete flood
wall is complete. Sidewalks 100% complete. MSE wall
construction is underway. PP&L work is complete.
Colonial St.: Grass paver parking lot 100% complete.
Market St: Grass paver parking lot 100% complete.
Pavement Marking – 100% Complete
Traffic and Street Signs – 100% Complete
Project is 98% completed. Substantial/Final completion inspection to be scheduled
