Project Progress Update for Period Ending 24 January 2020
Inspection Trench and Toe Drain: Complete between Eleventh Street and Market Street
Levee Embankment (Design top 485.00): Current levee elevations are; 477 at PS-#3, 485 near treatment plant, 485 at Railroad St (except area at Closure Structure #11 – 479), and 483 near Market St (except area around Pump Station #4 – 478).
The 24” Storm Line from PS-#4 to Colonial Street is complete including the manhole and inlets.
30” DIP Sanitary Line: The doghouse manhole at the corner of the BASD Football Field fence has been changed to a standard manhole and is currently on site. Installation is scheduled to start on 27 JAN 20.
48” Storm Line: Construction along 11th Street is scheduled to resume FEB 2020. A revision to the Storm line design has been issued to the contractor including revisions to the Suez waterline work which will result in less work at the Railroad and Eleventh Street intersection..
Closure Structure #10 and 11: Complete except for the school access road and Railroad Street final top paving layer.
Control Structure #8 (Railroad Street): Prep work for installation of the sluice gate has started.
Pump Station #3: Installing pump bases, brackets, valves, sluice gates, and ladders. Awaiting delivery of the 30” DIP Storm Water Discharge tubes which are scheduled for delivery 29 JAN 20. Storm water pumps are on site. Delivery of control panels are scheduled for end of January.
Control Structure #6 (PS#3): Installation of sluice gate delayed till March due to manufacturing delays.
Control Structure #7 (PS#3): Concrete structure has been set. Sluice gate has been installed.
Pump Station #4: Concrete placement for the first section of walls was completed on 7 JAN 20. Interior wall formwork and rebar placement is underway.
Project is approximately 60% completed. Contractor has been directed to submit all outstanding change order items related to additional work and any time extension requests by week of January 27, 2020.
Updated completion timeframe and projects costs will be submitted to Owners week of February 3, 2020.
