Any residents of Bloomsburg and the surrounding area who are interested in learning more about the Civil Air Patrol and what it means to have a local unit in your area should attend.

Cadets Needed: A year-round program where cadets fly, learn to lead, hike, camp, get in shape and push themselves to new limits. If you are dreaming about a career in aviation, space, leadership (service), or the military, this CAP Cadet Program is for you!
A squadron cannot function without senior staff. Come train with our ground teams to aid in the rescue of survivors, support and guide our cadets in the cadet programs, have fun training and supporting aerospace education, pilots needed to train our future generation of aviators (earth and space bound).
Senior Duty Assignments: Public Affairs, Emergency Services, Communications, Safety, Cadet Programs, Operations (Flight), Personnel, Logistics, Chaplain, Recruitment & Retention, Finance, Aerospace Education, Professional Development, etc.
CADETS (Age 12-21): Do you want to prepare for your future while making new friends? Then rise to the challenge of cadet membership in the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary, Civil Air Patrol. Cadets learn about aerospace, emergency services, take orientation flying lessons, work on team leadership, hike, camp, get in shape, and push themselves to new limits. If you’re dreaming about a career in aviation, space, the military, or striving for leadership; CAP’s Cadet Program is for you.
SENIORS (Age 18 & over): CAP supports a variety of missions that require adults from all walks of life. In emergency services we not only need aircrew members, but also ground team members, communications personnel, administrative staff, logistics and supply officers to aid in the rescue of survivors or to assess damage after a disaster. CAP also needs adults to support the cadet program by guiding our youth in leadership, aerospace education, physical fitness, and moral and ethical decision making.
The entire community is welcome to attend and learn more about our Squadron and Civil Air Patrol. Cadet and Senior members will be on hand to show you around.
