PUBLIC HEARING – Zoning Ordinance Amendment Re: Signs


Take notice that on Monday, February 27, 2017, the Town Council of the Town of Bloomsburg will conduct a public hearing to consider for enactment amendments to the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Bloomsburg.

The public hearing will take place at 6:00 pm at the Bloomsburg Town Hall, Council Chambers, 301 East Second Street, Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. Thereafter, the Town Council of the Town of Bloomsburg will hold its regular monthly meeting at which time it will consider enacting the Ordinance relating to the proposed amendment.

The proposed amendment to the Zoning Ordinance relates to the definition of signs, the requirements for signs, and the regulation of signs, including special requirements and regulations in certain zoning districts.

Any person with a disability requiring special accommodation to attend the hearing and meeting should notify the Town Hall office at 570/784-7703 no later than five business days prior to the hearing. Every effort will be made to provide reasonable accommodation.

A copy of the proposed Ordinance may be inspected at the Town Hall during regular business hours.
